ABOUT

I'm a master's student at the Control and Intelligent Processing Center of Excellence of University of Tehran, Iran.
My primary research interests are Machine Learning (esp. Deep Learning) and Artificial Intelligence . In particular, I'm fascinated by the new Deep Generative Models and new applications of Deep Learning in Computer Vision, Genomics and more.
My past research interests were Mechatronics and FPGA Programming.

Currently, in addition to my research in deep learning, I'm contributing in spreading the knowledge of this field in my country (Iran) by teaching in deep learning workshops and seminars.

Trajectory Prediction in Crowded Spaces Using Deep Networks
Master Thesis

Null Continuing the Social LSTM paper published in CVPR 2016, I'm working on a more complete model of different moving agents in crowded spaces.

Char-Level Language Modeling of "Divan Hafez"
Personal Project

Null "Divan Hafez" is one of the most famous poetry book. I tried to model these poems with Deep LSTMs. The results showed that the model was succsessfull in capturing the rhythm and lattice structure, also produced meaningfull words. The sentences are sometimes meaningful too.

Design, Implementation and Control of Rotary Series Elastic Actuator for Quadrupped Robot
Bachelor Project

In my bachelor project, a novel soft actuator was designed and controlled to be used in a quadruped robot with energy efficiency purposes.
